The virtual art platform of the OÖLKG opens with a link to the digital world, in which there is an island called San Francisco. There stands the DFC- the digital Francisco Carolinum. Purchased as an Internet property, visitors:inside can move virtually through the exhibitions, designed by online curator Markus Reindl, on three sticks.

In keeping with the theme, not only offline in the exhibition rooms of the Francisco Carolinum, but also online in the virtual world of Cryptovoxels. In view of the developments surrounding NFTs in art and on the art market, it is impossible not to look at their history – and why they are suddenly on everyone’s lips.
